PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ANHYDROUS ARIPIPRAZOLE CRYSTAL FORM II

PURPOSE: A method for preparing apipiprazole crystal form II is provided to improve the purity of apipiprazole and to lower preparation cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing apipiprazole crystal form II comprises: a step of introducing apipiprazole crystal in a mixture solvent of acetone and 1-methoxy-2-propanol or 1-methoxy-2-propanol single solvent; a step of heating in the mixture solvent at 45-60 Deg. C. or in the single solvent at 70-90 Deg. C. and stirring; a step of seeding the apipiprazole crystal form II at 35-65 Deg. C.; and a step of isolating the crystal from the solution. The method additionally comprises a step of washing and drying.
