PURPOSE: A core cutter for a transformer is provided to obtain strong shearing force by moving a blade upwards and downwards by rotational motion of a servo motor. CONSTITUTION: A blade frame(110) comprises a top blade and a bottom blade. A motor is installed on a supporting frame which is placed on the top of the blade frame. A driving shaft(124) is connected to a rotary shaft of the motor. An upper end of a connecting rod(126) is connected to a cam shaft of the driving shaft. A connecting unit connects a lower end of the connecting rod to the top blade. A connecting port is combined with the bottom of the connecting rod. A height control cam passes through the connecting port and the connecting rod in order to control the height of the top blade.
