PURPOSE: A display device detecting the activation of a microorganism and a self estimation method using the same are provided to simply detect the activation of a microorganism hard to detect with unaided eyes through a display device. CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises a light source unit(100), a photographing unit(200), a screen display unit(300), and a controlling unit(400). The light source unit irradiates lights of a specific wavelength band selected from a visual ray region to an object. The photographing unit photographs images in which a metabolite material of the microorganism existing in the object fluoresces with the lights irradiated by the light source unit through a color filter. The screen display unit displays the images photographed by the photographing unit. The controlling unit controls the light source unit, photographing unit, and screen display unit which are formed into a body. A portion of the object where the activation of the microorganism exists is displayed by a color division.
