The tool comprises at least two drums or cylinders â jâ with picks (not shown) mounted upon a common axle. The drums rotate in opposite directions and are lowered into the pothole â aâ to cut into the ground such as a road made from tarmac, asphalt, concrete or tarmac. The drums may be mounted in a shell â nâ which has wheels â lâ to allow easier transportation. In an alternative embodiment the drums may rotate in the same direction to facilitate movement of the tool and there may also be three drums. The tool may be attached to a boom connected to a vehicle. |
