PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling power using a mobile communication device are provided to reduce the power consumption of a power device by controlling power used at a home or specific places using the mobile communication device and various sensors. CONSTITUTION: A power device control module controls an amount of power applied to each power device. A management module(5) controls each power device using a wireless internet communication. A power amount control unit(12) controls the power consumption of the power device. A controller(14) controls the power amount control unit according to a bidirectional communication control command.
