PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the coating liquid of a coater roll from being scattered is provided to prevent the occurrence of defects due to dropped coating liquid on a steel plate. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the coating liquid of a coater roll from being scattered includes a coater roll, a scattered liquid receiving part(50), and bearing parts(26, 27). The scattered liquid receiving part is fixed by a bearing housing(29) and a clamp frame(28) which support both end parts of the roll shaft(20) of the coater roll. The scattered liquid receiving part is installed at both lateral sides of the coater roll to form a receiving space for a scattered solution. The bearing part keeps the scattered liquid receiving part fixed in order to receive the scattered solution regardless of the rotation of the roll shaft.
