PURPOSE: A solar power generation capacity predicting system and a method thereof are provided to analyze solar power generation capacity predicted before installing a solar power generation facility. CONSTITUTION: A smart phone displays information about solar power generation facilities through a dedicated application. A selection unit(10) selects an installation prediction location, a direction, and an altitude of the solar power generation facility. A computation unit(20) computes selected data. An output unit(30) outputs solar power generation capacity based on a computation result.
