PURPOSE: A rayon filament-heat melted synthetic filament composite fiber and a fabric from the same are provided to improve volume and freshness. CONSTITUTION: A rayon filament-heat melted synthetic filament composite fiber comprises a heat melted synthetic filament containing two kinds of fiber forming polymers which are heat-melted on the yarn cross section and a rayon filament which is heat melted with one kind of fiber forming polymers with lowest melting point among two kinds of fiber forming polymers. One or more fiber forming polymers contain inorganic particles. A fabric contains the filament composite fiber. The heat melted synthetic filament has a cross secton of sheath(S)-core(C) form or side-by-side form.
