PURPOSE: A tap hole closing device for a blast furnace is provided to prevent the excessive outflow of molten iron through an abnormally expanded tap hole by injecting mud into the tap hole. CONSTITUTION: A tap hole closing device for a blast furnace comprises a nozzle(32) which is installed at an end of a mud gun(30), a finishing tip(34) which is installed in the nozzle and contacts a tap hole(12) of a blat furnace(10), and an anti-expansion unit which is retractably installed in the finishing tip and settled at the entry of the tap hole.
