PURPOSE: An arcade with upper and lower roofs actuated simultaneously and an actuating method of upper and lower roofs are provided to reduce costs by using a minimum amount of actuating devices. CONSTITUTION: An arcade with upper and lower roofs actuated simultaneously comprises guiderails, upper and lower roofs(4,5), and an opening and closing device. The guiderails are formed on the top surface of a frame(3) in two rows. The upper and lower roofs are slid along the guiderails. The opening and closing device simultaneously opens and closes the upper and lower roofs. The opening and closing device is composed of feed chain sprockets(71) and an actuating device(72). The feed chain sprockets allow the upper and lower roofs to reciprocate on the guiderails. The actuating device simultaneously actuates the feed chain sprockets.
