PURPOSE: A lighting control apparatus with a detecting circuit for a fault current is provided to detect not only a short current and excess current of a load but also a leakage current by measuring a load current. CONSTITUTION: A zero phase current transformer(10) detects a leakage current generated from a load side of a three-phase and four-wired 380V/220V power terminal(9). A current transformer(11) detects a short current and an excess current of the load. A solid state relay unit(14) controls a plurality of illumination loads. A signal synchronization unit(13) applies a synchronized signal to a main control unit(16) by synchronizing a three-phase zero trigger signal which is applied from a power supply unit(12). An analog multiplexer(15) detects the short current, the excess current, and the leakage current of a plurality of loads. The main control unit generally controls a DMX(Digital Multiplex)512/RS485 communication protocol(19), an analog brightness control input(20), a current multiplexer, an alarm output, a remote control display unit(21), a keyboard(18), and an LCD display(17).
