PURPOSE: A manufacturing functional mortar and a method thereof are provided to have antibiosis, deodorization, sound insulation, noncombustibility, heat insulation, thermal insulation, anti-corrosion and thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of functional mortar comprises the following steps: dry mixing 30-40 wt% of industrial by-products(zinc slag, ferronickel slag, copper slag), 5-10 wt% of bentonite, quicklime, activated charcoal, 3-15 wt% of vermiculite, 0.5-5 wt% of carbonate and concrete intensifier, 0.1-0.3 wt% of isolate heat anti-sagging agent and stabilizer(carboxy methyl cellulose), 20-40 wt% of cement, and 10-15 wt% of loess and feldspar powder; maintaining uniformity by agitating with 50-80% of water based on the weight of the mixed mortar; and dry curing after 20-50 minutes.
