PURPOSE: An LED lighting apparatus driven by solar energy including a solar panel tilting device is provided to collect the solar energy at maximum efficiency for maximum time by operating the solar panel tilting device. CONSTITUTION: A solar module includes a plurality of solar cells changing solar energy into electrical energy. The solar module comprises a solar panel and a solar panel tilting device controlling an angle of the solar panel according to the altitude of the sun. A power module comprises a storage battery which stores power and an external power source which is provided according to a power amount stored in the storage battery. An LED module includes a plurality of light emitting diodes which emits light by receiving the power source from the power module. A control module comprises a voltage measuring device measuring an output voltage from the storage battery, a sensor unit measuring an external state, and a central processing unit controlling the power source and the light emitting diode module according to the output signal from the sensor unit.
