PURPOSE: A variable overflow weir is provided to secure a water permeating side by being connected to a floatable tank and being downwardly moved based on a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A variable overflow weir(10) includes a rotary shaft(40) and a floating tank(20). The weir has a fixed orbit based on the rotary shaft. Kinetic energy due to the buoyancy of a floating tank according to the level of water is transferred to the rotary shaft such that the weir operates. When the level of water decreases, the rotary shaft rotates to return the weir. When the weir operates, an initial rainwater inlet is closed. The level of rainwater through a siphon pipe(50) reaches to a pre-determined value, the opening timing of the weir is adjusted.
