PURPOSE: A producing method of instant rice cake is provided to use rice powder, salt, and sugar to obtain the rice cake, and to prevent the generation of bad smell after freeze-storing rice cake ingredients. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of instant rice cake comprises the following steps: washing and soaking rice in water over night, and crushing the water-soaked rice to obtain rice powder; preparing supplementary materials including sweet pumpkin powder, purple sweet potato powder, and mugwort powder; sieving the rice powder and the supplementary materials after rubbing with both hands; preparing toppings for the rice cake; and layering the rice powder mixture on an earthenware steamer or a steamer(1), and sprinkling the toppings over the rice powder mixture before steaming for 20-30 minutes.
