METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING IMAGE WITH DEPTH-OF-FIELD HIGHLIGHTED

PURPOSE: A method for obtaining an image whose depth-of-field is highlighted and a device thereof are provided to detect a depth-of-field area of an image by a lighting device using a pattern. CONSTITUTION: A depth-of-field area is detected by generating a differential image between a first pattern image and a second pattern image(1420). A weighted value is etermined using the detected depth-of-field area(1430). The weighted value is applied to either one of the first pattern image or the second pattern image. A depth-of-field highlighted image is generated(1440).
