PURPOSE: An engine cover mounting structure is provided to protect an engine body by preventing an engine cover from colliding with the engine body. CONSTITUTION: An engine cover mounting structure comprises an engine body, an engine cover(3), a rod(10), a bracket(20), a rubber member(30), and a stopper part(22). The engine cover covers an upper part of the engine body. The rod is protruded from a lower part of the engine cover. The bracket is fixed to the engine body, and a hole(21) is formed. The rod is inserted into the rubber member. The rubber member is deformed, and separated from the hole when the engine cover is shocked. The stopper part is formed in the lower part of the hole to prevent the rubber member from colliding with the engine body.
