PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for notifying a connection state of an external apparatus in a vehicle using wireless communication are provided to enable a user to easily recognize the loss of personal portable materials by sensing a wireless communication signal. CONSTITUTION: A first wireless communication module(12) is embedded in an AVN(Audio Video Navigation) system(10). The AVN system is embedded in a vehicle. A second wireless communication module(22) is embedded in an external apparatus(20). The external apparatus includes a personal portable material and the socket material of the vehicle. An alarm apparatus(30) notifies non-access state of the external apparatus by sensing wireless communication between the first and the second wireless communication module.
