PURPOSE: A device for detecting the damage of a conveyor belt is provided to enable fast maintenance by early detecting the damage of a belt part. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting the damage of a conveyor belt(100) comprises a belt part(10), a locking part(20), a support part(30), and a sensor part(40). The locking part is rotated while being contacted with a damaged surface(11) of the belt part. The support part rotatably supports the locking part. The sensor part detects the rotation of the locking part. The locking part comprises a rotating portion(21), a touch portion(22), and a protrusion portion(23). The rotating portion is rotatably coupled to the support part and the touch portion is protruded from the rotating portion to the belt part.
