POLYESTER RESIN APPLICABLE INDOORS AND OUTDOORS, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME, AND POWDER COATING COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a polyester resin is provided to have excellent chemical resistance, storage stability and mechanical properties, to obtain a price competitiveness, and to manufacture a polyester resin capable of being used in indoor and outdoor at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a polyester resin comprises: a step of manufacturing a hydroxy-terminated polyester prepolymer of which hydroxy value is 30-80 mgKOH/g and a melt-viscosity is 5-30 poise(200°C, ICI visicomiter) by reacting a mixture of aromatic polyvalent carboxylic acid and polyhydric alcohol with an alcohol/acid equivalent ratio of 1.1-1.5; and a step of manufacturing linear carboxy polyester of which acid value is 10-50 mgKOH/g and a met-viscosity is 25-80 poise(200°C, ICI visicomiter) by reacting the prepolymer and a mixture of aliphatic polyhydric acid with an alcohol/acid equivalent ratio of 0.8-1.0.
