FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to determination of crack formation probability in pressing various metals. To detect cracks in pressing, detection module reveals die strain to be measured from pressing beginning to end, said strain being measured by dedicated module, and defines operating conditions by measurements. Retrieval module extracts reference data that define minimum sum of differences between production conditions of reference data extracted from storage module and operating conditions of target data for crack determination for comparison purposes. Comparison module compares mechanical stress in comparison data extracted by retrieval module and mechanical stress in target data to detect origination of crack in moulded article if maximum difference makes, at least, pre-defined magnitude. ^ EFFECT: higher validity of determination. ^ 13 cl, 5 dwg, 6 ex, 13 tbl |
