FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber storing and reloading-and-sorting works and can be used during timber cargoes formation for loading on timber trucking transport, in particular, for alignment of round timber bundle butt ends by rotating boards. The device includes metal horizontal frame on which four stand-catchers are vertically installed; cable-and-block system; intermediate support on which two regulating chains are fixed. The regulating chains connect two sliding gears on which two L-shaped rotating trimming boards are pivotally mounted. The boards are provided with horizontal ribs, counterweights, telescopic beams at the ends of which rests and load beams are installed. The load beams are made removable and of hollow tubes bolted to telescopic beams. On the load beams, self-rotating cylinders are mounted on ball bearings of designed length equal to minimum diameter of trimmed logs. ^ EFFECT: lowering friction forces between load beams and timber bundle, increasing productivity of butt trimmers of gravity type with rimming boards. ^ 5 dwg |
