<p>The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting multicarrier-supported capability of UE. When the UE supports multicarrier, the UE sends a message carrying multicarrier-supported capability of the UE to an RNC; the RNC parses the message from the UE and obtains the multicarrier-supported capability of the UE. The present disclosure also provides a system for transmitting multicarrier-supported capability of UE. Through the method and the system of the present disclosure, a network side can learn that the UE supports multicarrier, and determine whether a service can be received by a multicarrier cell based on the learning.</p> |
