A device for sorting solid materials comprises a pair of rollers with ring grooves uniformly made on length of each of them, and closed flexible elements placed in said grooves, each of which is made from a section of wire by a permanent connection between the ends of its end segments. Permanent joints of each of closed flexible elements are made with an angular displacement of the ends of corresponding segment of wire to form on each of the elements a surface without ledges.
