FIXING MODULE OF HEAD COVER IN EXCAVATOR ENGINE

PURPOSE: A head cover fixing module of an excavator engine is provided to prevent water leakage between an engine head and a head cover of an excavator. CONSTITUTION: A head cover fixing module of an excavator engine comprises a head gasket, a fixing bolt, and a packing member. The head gasket is inserted between an engine head and a head cover and seals the gap between the engine head and the head cover. The fixing bolt fixes the head cover to the engine head. The packing member is inserted between the fixing bolt and a bolt through hole and seals the gap between the fixing bolt and the bolt through hole. The packing member comprises a rigid support portion(151) and a sealing portion(156). The rigid support portion comprises horizontal and vertical portions(152,153). The horizontal portion touches the head portion of the fixing bolt. The sealing portion comprises horizontal and vertical packing portions(157,158). The horizontal packing portion is attached to the inner surface of the horizontal and vertical portions. The vertical packing portion is inserted into the bolt through hole.
