POLYESTER FABRICS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a fabric for an airbag is provided to ensure excellent toughness and energy absorption performance and to safely protect passengers. CONSTITUTION: A polyester fabric contains a polyester yarn of 300-700 denier. The polyester fabric has 0.83 or more of warp direction PWTSRI^wa(PWTSRI^wa= PWTS_3000^wa/PWTS^wa) index, weft direction PWTSRI^we(PWTSRI^we= PWTS_3000^we/PWTS^we) index, warp direction PWSSRI^wa(PWSSRI^wa= PWSS_3000^wa/PWSS^wa) index, and weft direction PWSSRI^we(PWSSRI^we= PWSS_3000^we/PWSS^we) index. The tensile strength and ductility of the yarn are 8.5 g/d-11.0 g/d and 15-30% at room temperature.
