PURPOSE: A location-based advertising method in an AR(Augmented Reality) environment and a device thereof are provided to supply a game character growing service of an AR application and a discount service with a coupon to a user based on the confirmation of a location-based advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A location-based advertisement is registered in a database(S100). A smart phone executes an AR application according to the manipulation of a user(S400). Correspondence between the application and a generation condition of the location-based advertisement is determined according to the use of the application(S500). The smart phone generates an event of the location-based advertisement according to each advertiser on a screen of the application.
