<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter to be used for a liquid crystal display apparatus or the like such as a television set, a color filter free from deformation in barrier walls segmenting pixels of the respective colors due to thermal sagging of a thermosetting resin, but having an ideal rectangular form or an inverse tapered form, and to provide a color filter having a flat color composition within each pixel and no color irregularity. <P>SOLUTION: A binder resin, a cationic polymerizable compound, a cation generator and a dehydrating agent are used for the resin composition to be used for barrier walls, and the effect of the cation generator is enhanced. Thereby, the crosslinking reaction of the binder resin and the cationic polymerizable compound is promoted, and the color composition formed in each pixel by an ink-jet method is flattened, which results in a high definition color filter having preferable characteristics and no color irregularity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
