A biologically active substance from castoreum comprises the preparation of raw material, the drying of the prepared raw material, the steam treatment, and the mincing of the dried raw material. The raw material is dried in two steps. The first step comprises the gradual increase of the temperature from 30° to 100- until the water content of 50 %. The second step follows the stage of the mincing. The steam treatment is provided under the pressure below 2 atm. for 1-10 min. |
