A method for diagnosing anemia in systemic lupus erythematosus comprises the general, biochemical and immunological blood tests, urinalysis, faeces, ultrasonography of the internal organs, which further determine the concentration of iron and ferritin levels in serum. When levels of these indicators respectively <10.6 mmol/l and <15 mg/l iron deficiency anemia is diagnosed. |
