PURPOSE: A joint for pile extension and a pile extension method using the same are provided to improve construction performance by connecting piles to each other without a welding work. CONSTITUTION: A joint for pile extension comprises an upper plate(110), a lower plate(120), a support plate(130), first connectors(160), a cover plate(140), and second connectors(170). The upper plate has the same outer diameter as the lower outer diameter of an upper pile(10) and has a first through hole and first coupling holes. The lower plate has the same outer diameter as the upper outer diameter of a lower pile and has a second through hole and second coupling holes. The second through hole and the second coupling holes correspond to the first through hole and the first coupling holes, respectively. One end of the support plate is vertically coupled to the bottom surface of the upper plate, and the other end thereof is vertically coupled to the top surface of the lower plate. The first connectors connect the upper plate to the bottom surface of the upper pile and connect the lower plate to the top surface of the lower pile. |
