FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for making aircraft gas turbine engine vanes from deformable metals and alloys. Shaped billet is prepared by forging. Then, it is divided into two parts mechanically in one plane parallel with billet mirror axis. Protective lubrication coat is applied on cutting surface of both parts. Thereafter, both parts are assembled into stack and welded together along there edges. Said welded stack is heated and placed in mould so that stack assembly plane is parallel with mould opening area. Said stack is subjected to high-temperature die forging to make vane foot and vane root back airfoil section in one half of the mould and remaining parts of vane foot and airfoil section of pressure side in another half. Then, flesh is removed along the edges on forged stack. Thereafter, both parts are separated along stack assembly plane. ^ EFFECT: decreased metal and labor input. ^ 2 dwg |
