FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in machining by helical teeth milling cutters with sets cutting heads plugged in milling cutter seats. Milling cutter has outer surface with multiple cutting plates fitted in appropriate grooves extending, in fact, radially, on outer surface. Cutting plates are arranged in helical set on cutting surface so that, at least, one cutting edge is spaced in angular circular direction from said groove under adjacent cutting plate. Cutting plates are spaced from said groove so that appropriate point of one or more cutting edges make a part of location line with irregular inclination behind the first row of grooves.
