PURPOSE: An unauthorized parking prevention system and a method thereof are provided to install an RFID tag on a vehicle of a designated parking space and to arrange an RFID reader in a designated parking space. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification System) reader(140) reads out an RFID tag(110) of a vehicle sensed in a vehicle sensor(130). In case information stored in a memory unit(150) is not matched with read RFID tag information or the vehicle does not equip the RFID tag, a warning unit(160) generates a warning sound. An output unit(180) displays the parking enable time when the vehicle is inputted in the designated parking space. A control unit(120) controls each component.
