PURPOSE: A hybrid excavator is provided to minimize the generation of carbon dioxide even if the excavator is operated frequently. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid excavator comprises a motor generator(21), a converter(30), a first inverter, a swing motor(27), an accumulator(29), a second inverter, and a traveling motor(28). The motor generator is connected to an engine and generates AC power. The converter receives the AC power from the motor generator and converts the AC power into first DC power. The first inverter generates first control AC power by changing the voltage and frequency of the first DC power and outputs the first control AC power. The swing motor operates a swing unit(27a) by receiving the first control AC power from the first inverter. The accumulator outputs second DC power. The second inverter generates second control AC power by changing the voltage and frequency of the second DC power and outputs the second control AC power. The traveling motor operates a traveling unit(28a) by receiving the second control AC power from the second inverter. |
