PURPOSE: A ball-point pen and ink for ball-point pen are provided to enhance quick dryness and to enhance tactile feeling. CONSTITUTION: Ink for ball-point pen has ink consumption amount per unit area is 0.64-1.6 mg/cm^2. The Ink for ball-point pen comprises 30.0-80.0 wt% of water, 0.1-10.0 wt% of volatilization inhibitory substance, and 1.0-40.0 wt% of non-volatile water-soluble liquid solvent. The volatilization inhibitory substance is composed of more than 1 or 2 compounds selected from maltitol-containing reducing sugar, sorbitol-containing reducing sugar, reducing oligosaccharides, reducing maltooligo sugar, reducing maltodextrin, A-cyclodextrin, B-cyclodextrin, maltosylcyclodextrin, reducing starch sugar and reducing maltose. |
