PURPOSE: A camera module having a voice output function for infant and a control method thereof are provided to supply a voice of an animation character which an infant likes or a voice of a family. CONSTITUTION: A selection function input unit(110) inputs one or more selection functions. A voice input unit(120) receives a natural voice of a user. A voice data storage unit(130) stores the natural voice of the user and a character voice. A data processing unit(140) selectively converts the stored natural voice of the user and the character voice into voice data based on the inputted selection function. A voice output unit(150) outputs the converted voice data.
