PURPOSE: A composition containing Galla Rhois ethanol extract is provided to suppress lung cancer growth and to prevent and treat lung cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating lung cancer contains Galla Rhois ethanol extract as an active ingredient, prepared by extracting Galla Rhois at 50 Deg. C. for 24 hours and decompressing at 45 Deg. C. The composition additionally contains pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or diluents.
