PURPOSE: A zoom lens and a photographing apparatus including the same are provided to control the change of size of an object and to reduce weight and size. CONSTITUTION: A focus lens unit(U1) has positive refraction power. A variator(U2) has negative refraction power for magnification. A compensator(U3) has the negative refraction power. The compensator non-linearly moves an optical shaft in order to correct upper face change according to magnification. An imaging lens unit(U4) has the positive refraction power.
