PURPOSE: A mounting portion of a clutch release bearing on the shaft of a gearbox of a motor vehicle is provided to improve the performance of the mounting portion by performing the automatic centering function of a release bearing stably. CONSTITUTION: A mounting portion of a clutch release bearing on the shaft of a gearbox of a motor vehicle comprises a ring shaped support portion(5), a mounting length portion(7), and an elastic washer(9). The ring shaped support portion is connected to the release bearing on a shaft accommodating a support length portion(6). The ring shaped support portion comprises a front length portion(11). The mounting length portion is fixed in a fixing raceway(2). The elastic washer comprises a rear end(9a) and a front end(9b) and is installed for the automatic centering of the release bearing. The front end is arranged to be contacted with a rim(15) formed on an axial length portion(10) and installed to be deformed elastically.
