PURPOSE: A composition containing Crassirhizomae Rhizoma ethanol extract and a functional food are provided to effectively prevent and treat lung cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating lung cancer contains Crassirhizomae Rhizoma ethanol extract as an active ingredient. The ethanol extract is prepared by extracting Crassirhizomae Rhizoma at 50 Deg. C. for 24 hours and drying and concentrating at 45 Deg. C. The composition contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluents. A functional food for preventing lung cancer contains the ethanol extract as an active ingredient.
