The invention provides a composition for fixing wound items comprising at least oneα,β-unsaturated polyester, and at least two different monomeric or oligomeric ethylenically unsaturated components. The composition of the present invention provides a composition having low curing emissions, low viscosities and excellent impregnation properties. After curing, these impregnation materials show high mechanical toughness levels even at elevated temperatures.
