PURPOSE: A surgical instrument and a control method thereof using light and high frequency are provide to improve operator convenience by shortening operation time. CONSTITUTION: An light emitting unit(210) emits generated light in a light generating unit to a surgical part of a skin. A high frequency feeder(220) is adjacent to the end part of the light emitting unit. The high frequency feeder provides high frequency energy to the surgical part. An insulating part surrounds some part of the high frequency feeder. A controller(130) controls the driving the light emitting unit and the high frequency feeder.
