PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic images, a developer for developing the electrostatic images, a toner cartridge, an image forming device, and an image forming method are provided to keep images glossy regardless of exposure to ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic images includes a binder resin, a coloring agent, and a barium compound. Relaxation modulus G(t) is in a range between 2.0×10^2 and 3.0×10^3 Pa when a relaxation time from dynamic viscoelasticity is 10xDt. The content of barium about the total atomic rate of the toner by fluorescence X-rays is in a range between 0.1 and 0.5%. The Dt is a heating time for fixing. The barium compound is selected from barium carbonate, barium titanate, barium sulphate, barium borate, and nickel barium titanate yellow.
