PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a space frame for a vehicle is provided to improve the collision safety by reducing the maximum reaction force and increasing impact absorption energy. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a space frame for a vehicle comprises the steps of: extruding aluminum alloy into a rectangular pipe(A), calculating folding positions of the rectangular pipe through computer simulation in a compression test, and forming grooves respectively in the folding positions of two facing sides of the rectangular pipe, calculated through the computer simulation.
