PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a novel compound, stereoisomer, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for suppressing human 11-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrolase type 1(11beta-HSD1). CONSTITUTION: A compound which suppresses human 11-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrolase type 1 is denoted by chemical formula 1. A pharmaceutical composition for suppressing human 11-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrolase type 1 contains a compound of chemical formula 1, stereoisomer, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diseases contains the compound of chemical formula 1 or stereoisomer, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
