<p>PURPOSE: A method for generating spatially constant surround sound is provided to generate a sound signal which is spatially balanced irrespective of the change of a pressure level of a signal. CONSTITUTION: Signal channels(10.1-10.5) with different audio sound signals are processed by a digital signal or are transmitted to a DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(100). Sound signals include different audio signal channels which are exclusively used for different loudspeakers(200) in a surround sound system. The surround sound signal channels are transmitted to gain adaptation units(110, 120) which make a gain of the surround sound signal to be adopted. An audio signal combiner(130) adds direction information about a virtual user to the audio signal channel. The audio signal combiner applies a binaural room impulse response(BRIR) determined for the loudspeakers corresponding to each signal channel to the sound signal channel corresponding to the surround sound signal.
