PURPOSE: A suicide prevention system within the prison which utilizes a motion detection sensor is provided to prevent suicide of prisoners which are incarcerated in the prison in advance. CONSTITUTION: A suicide prevention system within the prison connects a control center(10) to a sensing part(30) using a network. The sensing part is installed on the wall of prescribed height at the bottom of each cell within a prison. The sensing part senses the movement of a prisoner through a motion detection sensor. The sensing part transmits a detected signal to the control center. The control center receives the detected signal from the sensing part in a receiving part and generates an alarm by being connected to signal reception of the receiving part.
