PURPOSE: A machine tool is provided to control the deterioration of grease for lubricating a bearing because a temperature rise of a spindle and a bearing are controlled by jetting air so that the durability of the spindle and bearing is improved. CONSTITUTION: A machine tool comprises a spindle head(1) and a spindle(3). The spindle is supported by a bearing in the inside of the spindle head and connected to a driving source. The spindle is rotated by the driving source. An air jetting unit is installed in the inside of the spindle head and jets air toward the spindle.
