SHELF DEVICE FOR STUDING SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES

PURPOSE: A shelf device for scientific experiment is provided to enable a user to visually understand operation principle and basic constitution of a shelf through the process of sharpening a pencil by a cutting tool. CONSTITUTION: A tool rest includes a moving body(31) and a vertical connector(32). The moving body includes a mounting groove(31a) for mounting a cutting device. The vertical connector connects the moving body and a slide rest. The vertical connector is extended from the bottom side of the moving body downwardly. The slide rest includes a rack rod(41), a pinion(42), a connection rod(43) and a knob(44). The rack rod is attached along an extension groove. The connection rod is hinge-coupled to the pinion and the vertical connector. The knob is attached on both ends of the connection rod.
